2019 Panel of Judges
Elisa was your 2017 International Ms. Bootblack, 2016 Great Lakes Bootblack and 2015 Michigan Community Bootblack. She is a member of the gender-inclusive Michigan Band of Brothers and holds leadership positions in the Board of Education, a kinky, pansexual educational organization in metro Detroit. She is a past judge of the 25th anniversary of International Mr. Bootblack, International Pup/Trainer and the 15th anniversary of International Community Bootblack. She is a Founding Member of the Order of the Non-Sanctimonious. She educates as well as bootblacks. She is the co-host of Fuck 'n' Learn, a traveling queer weekend event that emphasizes consent, radical sex positivity (fucking) and education (learning).
She is a radical sexual outlaw who disdains hierarchy who is best described as a contrarian leather anarchist. She is a body positive, polyamorous feminist. She is a fuzzy femme piglet who demands authentic and intimate relationships that involve degradation, objectification and pain, done with love and affection. If you fist her, bring her oreos.
Lucky Rebel, is originally from San Diego, California. Growing up in a motorcycle family, he developed an interest in leather early. He currently lives in Portland, Oregon where he served as Mr. Oregon State Leather, 2016. When he's not actively working on dismantling white supremacy, tearing down the patriarchy, and smashing the status quo, you can find him hustling his handmade leather care products, "Rebel Rubs and Suds." He is proud to be an Onyx Northwest Brother and uses his influence to promote the concept that "Representation Matters."

Being an older Leather Person, I'm keen to share my knowledge and skills with other Leather folk to help ensure longevity of the local Leather Community.
boy Patrick is a queer, switch femme, otter. He calls Chicago home, but got his start in the scene in Oklahoma and Texas. Patrick has a huge passion for leather and fetish wear care as well as general shenanigans. Patrick encourages education and empowerment when it comes to kink, both in and out of the dungeon. He believes that through education and experience we are able to expand our abilities to give and receive pleasure.
Patrick had the honor to serve as South Central Community Bootblack for 2016 and International Community Bootblack for 2016. Patrick was the recipient of the 2017 Community Choice Pantheon of Leather. He is currently a member of GDI Outlaws and Titans of the Midwest. Patrick thrives off of presence and sharing energy with anyone who will engage with him, on or off the stand. By engaging with others, he believes that we can build bridges, develop better understandings of one another, and connect in a more meaningful way.
When he's not caring for leather, you can find Patrick teaching a variety of classes, both kinky and vanilla. His focus on education is not only on keeping things sexy, but also understanding health applications as well as appealing to those with varying experiences. Patrick also hopes to encourage the next generation within the kink and leather communities to not only educate more, but to help create long lasting spaces that will help serve people for years to come.
Born in the Midwest and raised by wolves, Janet found the leather scene early on. She was already photographing events in the gay and feminist world when she became excited by the beauty and joy of people in leather.
The IMsLBB contests are very special to Janet Ryan. She has photographed every International Ms Bootblack contest since it began and created a slide show and display for the 15 anniversary. Tarna honored her with a bootblack challenge coin, as recognition for her community service.
Janet is extremely dependent on the bootblacks of our community to keep her shine looking beautiful. She also has a hard time photographing anyone without showing their boots!
Her camera has led her through many adventures and to many dear friendships. It is an honor and pleasure to document our world! Events that she has photographed for include WILL, IMsLBB, SouthPlains, Just Play, etc. She has helped start a group or two, etc., including Kansas City Kinky Women, a trans-inclusive play group for women.
It is Janet’s wish that these photographs have a life after we are gone and give our future sisters and brothers a look at us, and a sense of being connected to us and a way of life that we share and that will continue to grow and evolve.
Complex is a self described petty, black feminist and womanist. A product of their environment, Complex has been able to define what it means to be proud, black, kinky and leather on their own terms. As International Ms. Leather 2017, their title year was dedicated to making sure black girl magic could thrive in all forms, allowing both their tomboy and femme adjacent presentations to be shown fluidly. Pantheon of Leather 2018 Woman of the Year and proud official handler of Pup Luck from Iowa, they have started building a pack of pups that they love called the Unpack Pack. If they have to be embarrassed about something, it is that their girl Vivian belongs to them as well. They maintain a hard stance against false allies and anyone else who "perps the fraud", that is old people speak for “they have no time for fake ones”. You can catch them sunbathing and listening to Yacht Rock, or watching anime in Oakland, CA, or you can lowkey stalk their Instagram (Girl_Complex), Twitter (IMsL2017), and/or on Facebook (Girl Complex).

Summer Rae is a switchy, slutty, show tunes obsessed leather dyke. She had a great time as Ms Texas Leather 2014 performing in various states of undress, raising money for the baby gays at Youth First Texas, singing with her sash husband, and joining the International Ms Leather class of 2015. Things that make her smile include glitter, pups, nerdy kinksters, and blushing.
Sir Kira (aka Kira Morganne) is International Ms. Olympus Leather 2011 and Executive Producer of National Capital Leather Pride (Ottawa, Canada). Residing in Gatineau, Quebec, she is “Loud & Proud” sadomasochistic Domme. She spent her formative years (you know, back when the dinosaurs roamed the earth) within the Leather Community where she earned the title of “Sir” and was covered.
Open and honest, Sir Kira is passionate about Leather and believes that Leather is a “real time, not online” pursuit. This sadomasochistic Domme can be found showing off her flogger skills at playparties (Sadist), teaching workshops (Domme) or organizing competitions or events (definitely need to be a masochist to enjoy this). Seriously not serious, Sir Kira’s sick sense of humor debunks the myths of Leather while promoting the community that she is proud to serve.
